In just a few days, summer will be starting! Where has the year gone? We enjoyed our travels across the United States and especially enjoyed seeing friends and family. We're glad we could stop in to see Nancy's sister, Janice. She passed away just shortly after we visited her. She had been in a nursing home for over 15 years with MS. We also visited 4 churches in California and one near Seattle, WA. Now we're in Campo Real and back into the schedule here. Kevin & Mari informed us that we will be grandparents again in October, 2008 - number 5!

There are also photos of Family Camp in August, 2007, as well as several other activities. There are some new photos of our grandkids as well. Spain is located on the Iberian Pennisula with France to the North, Portugal to the West and Africa to the South. There are 44 million people living here in a country about twice the size of Oregon. Only about 0,5% is considered to be Evangelical Christians. Spain is changing though. About 10% of the population are immigrants from Eastern and Central Europe as well as Central and South America. Campo Real, the town we live in, is about 20 minutes east of Madrid.
Thank you for praying with us as we step back into the ministry in the church in Coslada. This is not what we would have planned but we know that God has His own plans and we are grateful to be a part of them. We are thankful for the good spirit among the believers. In 2006, Kevin and Raul were elected deacons and Fran is in preparation for future leadership. Pedro continues to be a great help and encouragement.

We are so thankful for our family. Each of our sons has established a Christian home and continues faithful to the Lord. What a blessing to have Kevin, Mari and Javier nearby! They are expecting another son in October, 2008. Brian and Melody continue to live in New Jersey. We are enjoying our newest grandson, Owen, who was born in August, 2007. Keith, Debby, Luca and Chiara (our granddaughter born on March 21, 2007), are settled near Milan, Italy where they are serving as missionaries. What a joy it is to have many children in the church services. There are several babies and toddlers and some olders kids as well. We now have 2 Sunday School classes for the kids.
