Last month we started our travels across the United States and have now landed in California. Our first stop was with Brian, Melody & Owen in New Jersey. It was great to see them again. Then we headed to Ohio for a few days with Nancy's family. Nancy's sister, Janice, is in a nursing home and we felt it would be good to stop off for a visit with her. Who knew that we would be there for the worst blizzard in 30 years!! We also became members of Bible Baptist Church in Newark, OH, on Sunday, March 9. Now we're in California for 6 weeks to visit our supporting churches and to spend time with Roy's family. Brian, Melody & Owen came to visit us for a week last month. That was great!

There are also photos of Family Camp in August, 2007, as well as several other activities. There are some new photos of our grandkids as well (especially our newest grandson, Owen). Spain is located on the Iberian Pennisula with France to the North, Portugal to the West and Africa to the South. There are 44 million people living here in a country about twice the size of Oregon. Only about 0,5% is considered to be Evangelical Christians. Spain is changing though. About 10% of the population are immigrants from Eastern and Central Europe as well as Central and South America. Campo Real, the town we live in, is about 20 minutes east of Madrid.
Thank you for praying with us as we step back into the ministry in the church in Coslada. This is not what we would have planned but we know that God has His own plans and we are grateful to be a part of them. We are thankful for the good spirit among the believers. In 2006, Kevin and Raul were elected deacons and Fran is in preparation for future leadership. Pedro continues to be a great help and encouragement. These men are taking charge of the ministry during our absence.

We are so thankful for our family. Each of our sons has established a Christian home and continues faithful to the Lord. What a blessing to have Kevin, Mari and Javier nearby! Brian and Melody continue to live in New Jersey. We are excited about our newest grandson, Owen, who was born in August of last year. Keith, Debby, Luca and Chiara (our granddaughter born on March 21, 2007), are settled near Milan, Italy where they are serving as missionaries. What a joy it is to have many children in the church services. There are several babies and toddlers and some olders kids as well. We now have 2 Sunday School classes for the kids.
